'Tis the Season!

When you meet a ten-month-old who dresses cuter than you do.

I had the pleasure of meeting the Hoders family this past weekend at their home in Logan Square. Tis the holiday season, so we were getting some fun family holiday shots done, as well as some solo shots of Miss Kai Lily with her best buds Winnie and Grace.

I noticed very quickly that Kai Lily was no stranger to the camera, and her mom, Kara, told me that they take pictures daily at school, so girlfriend knew what she was doing. When I first got there, Kai Lily was just waking up from her nap. She barely had her eyes open when I met her, but she was full of hugs, love, and smiles right off the bat. I knew getting shots of this little peanut was going to be a piece of cake.

Kai Lily’s grandparents were even there to hop in on a few pictures! It is apparent that Kai Lily is just crazy about grandma and grandpa, and she looked awfully comfy sitting on grandpa’s lap.The holidays are a great time for family portraits. They are festive, fun, and a great excuse to surround yourself with family and friends. It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
