When You Want to Do A Destination Wedding But Can't

Who doesn't love the idea of saying their I Dos on a beach in Hawaii or a cliff off the Amalfi coast?  You're lying to me if you say "Nope.  Not me."

Here's the thing--there are lots of reasons destination weddings just aren't in the cards for some.  Immobile family members, familial pressures, financial reasons.

BUT what if we did a destination ENGAGEMENT SESSION?!

Think about it.

Your engagement session can be whatever you want it to be, wherever you want it to be.  It only involves you, me and Dupree and I'm ALWAYS down for some travel, as long as it's not to, like, Indiana.  No offense Hoosiers.  All my love.

Seriously though, thinking about taking a trip soon?  Let's arrange to do your engagements then.  The logistics are quite easy, much like the destination wedding but with half the headache.  I come, scout locations, and tell you where to be, when.  Simple as that.  You do none of the work except pick the dream destination and start tracking airfare.

Another idea?  Destination anniversary shoot.  It's another reason to get super dressed up in a beautiful place (Paris, anyone?) and take some gorgeous shots without having to fly the whole family out or worry about accommodations for your entire bridal crew.

I see this as a win-win.  We are going to do an engagement session anyway, and if you are a wanderlust like myself but it just doesn't make sense for your wedding, then let's make the destination engagement shoot happen.  You will be so happy that you did.

Questions about destination sessions?  Ask away in the comments!  I am more than happy to help.
