YOU Are Made of Water
Lately, I've been pretty obsessed with podcasts, and I'll do a post soon about which podcasts have all my lovin', but for today, I want to focus on an idea I got from "How I Made This". "How I Made This" is a podcast about some pretty famous (and some lesser known) and really awesome entrepreneurs that broke the mold in their industries and took some pretty insane risks to follow their dreams.
I just listened to the episode with Seth Goldman, founder of Honest Tea. As you can probably guess, throughout the course of establishing his business, Seth took some jaw dropping risks, experienced pretty epic failure, and succeeded against great odds.
And while his story was enticing until the end, it was something he said in his closing remarks that has been on my mind ever since:
"Eventually, water finds its way."
Water finds its way down mountains and rocks to creeks and rivers. It finds its way back to our oceans and lakes.
But the coolest part of all of this? Humans are about 60% water. Now take comfort in that and go break the rules. Test your limits. Encourage others to do the same. You'll end up where you need to be.
